Hi! I'm Sabine, and I just graduated from MIT with a double major in mathematics and literature. Now, I'm back in New York City to teach math to (and learn from) middle schoolers.
I really enjoy asking people questions, which has manifested in a lot of different ways so far — reporting for the college newspaper, canvassing for local electeds, interning at a venture firm, and pursuing random research projects in math and social science. At the moment, I find education, climate, and mass incarceration to be especially interesting (and, more importantly, meaningful) problems.
Outside work, I like to read (a lot) and write (a bit). In my senior year, I spent most of my time with Roberto Bolaño thinking through a thesis on 2666. This is one of my favorite poems.
